Israel is in a fight to survive.
Three years ago today, 6,000 Palestinian militants – including employees of UNRWA and members of the PLFP, which openly protests against Israel on the streets of America, broke through the border wall that was erected after years of terror attacks and tens of thousands of rockets fired at civilian targets, under the cover of 4300 rockets more of those very rockets.
More than 1300 Israeli civilians were killed on a single day. Many were college kids, dancing at a music festival to celebrate peace and love. Whole families were slaughtered in their homes. Babies were killed in front of their parents. Some of the victims of the attack were holocaust survivors – living for decades in their homeland, with their families *after* being victimized by the holocaust, only to finally have their lives claimed by a nearly identical campaign to eradicate Jews 80 to 90+ years later.
The New York Times and the UN corroborated that mass rapes occurred, with testimonies stretching as high as 1500.
251 people were taken hostage. They were tortured, starved, and raped – 83 of them to death – for up to 738 days. More than 2 years.
The war is still going. Hamas has refused to relinquish their commitment to or continuous, active, on-going attempt to “push” all Israeli Jews “into the sea.” Hezbollah is still firing rockets, drones and missiles at civilian targets in Israel. And The Huthis are still doing everything they can to strike Israel’s allies.
On October 7th, 2023, Iran and its proxies declared war on the Jews and the West. The war is still going on. Israel is in a fight for its life – and so are we, here in the United States. Hamas alone has killed 71 American citizens in terror attacks, including the 49 who were killed on October 7th. The IRGC has killed at least 996, and they continue to express an unrelenting commitment to the destruction of our country in all of their public statements.
Recognizing and resisting the hate, terrorism, open warfare against the United States and its closest allies, and genocide against the Jews isn’t a “Jew lobby agenda.” It’s a matter of life and death. Not just for Jews during this on-going, seven-front war; for us. We don’t vow never to forget the holocaust, and never to let it happen again, because we are virtue signalling. We do it because our freedoms – and in fact, our very survival – are at stake.
